Aphrodite’s Mirror is a mixed-media painting that is an abstract visualization of a safe and sacred inner landscape - an interior space that no one has access to, or can affect. Aphrodite is a known symbol of beauty, but is also known as the Goddess of War. This painting is an ode to self-preservation, what Aphrodite embodies to me and the opportunity to find deep inner stillness.
